As a member of Soccer Manager you have a choice of competing in two 遊戲世界 types, being either 標準遊戲世界 or 自訂遊戲世界.

標準遊戲世界 consist of several 遊戲世界 types: 英格蘭聯賽, 歐洲錦標賽, 世界錦標賽, and several other country specific championships, for example Spanish Championship.

自定義的遊戲世界 are bought and created by members of the Soccer Manager community. The creator can decide on the format and also the rules for this 遊戲世界.

A 遊戲世界 can be permanently closed at the end of a season if it has one or less managers and it is administered by the SMFA. If a 遊戲世界 is due to be closed then a warning message will be displayed within My Home.

Occasionally a 遊戲世界 will be shut down to conduct maintenance. This maintenance is usually brief to try and minimise disruption. Once this maintenance has been carried out the 遊戲世界 will reopen.
