簡介
Soccer Manager now lets you customise your experience through the use of 數據包. These are files in a standard format that are used to load data into your private profile area on the game.
This means that in addition to setting your own skins and profile information, you can also have control over the names, pictures and other information about teams in the game.
Want to play yourself as striker for your favourite team? Want to play with a classic international team from a previous 世界杯? Want to put your local amateur team into the game? Want to share these packs with your friends? All of these things are possible through the use of 數據包.
The 數據包 are created using xml. It is very important that the file is formatted correctly, so the best idea is to copy a working pack and change the things inside quotation marks, rather than typing your own pack from scratch.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>

<P id="314" f="John" s="Smith" i="mypicture.jpg" />
</PlayerData>
<ClubData baseImageUrl="http://example.com/c12351/">
<C id="219" n="Pub Team United" i="pubteamunited.jpg" />
</ClubData>
</PackData>
Here is an example of a short 數據包: basePack is important, it makes it easier for you to create a range of different packs, by basing them on one pack with data that you do not want to change.
The format of the basePack is very similar to the pack you create for Soccer Manager, but a basePack must not contain a basePack attribute in its 'PackData’ section.
Any data in the basePack will be overriden by elements in the pack you create if it has the same id.
The ‘name’ attribute must not be the same as any other pack loaded into Soccer Manager. The ‘name’ and ‘desc’ attributes must not be empty as these help identify the pack for you and people with whom you share your packs.
Your pack can contain any number of PlayerData and ClubData elements. Other types of data will be added in the future.
Once you have finished creating your file, you will need to save it and upload it to the Internet. There are a number of file storage and sharing web sites on the Internet.
Once you upload your file, the website will give you a URL like http://exampefilestorage/testfile.xml . You will then enter the URL that you are given in the 數據包 loading pages in Soccer Manager.
You can choose to make the pack public if you think it will be useful to other people playing the game. They will then be able to choose your pack from the community pages.
