This gives international teams the chance to try out any new players, formations or tactics prior to important qualifying matches or international tournaments.

Please note that you cannot arrange an international friendly and only the national association can do this.

Selecting the formation and tactics for your national team is the same process as for any club side that you are currently managing. To access the formation and tactics for your national team you will need to click on the Tactics tab within the Nations Overview page.

Regarding fitness and international friendlies, all players are 100% fit for the game, and no fitness is reduced for playing in a game.

Players will not be able to pick up an injury whilst on international duty.
